Barlow Girl... Beautiful Ending... it is hauntingly beautiful and makes me cry and rejoice all at the same time. What they say at the beginning of this video is profound. Mandy had a life filled with caring and kindness, she was not shy about her love of God - and she had a tragic ending - THANKFULLY it was not because she forgot him - she knew her final destination. Now I strive to be the kind of person, with a personal relationship with God -
so that I too can have that beautiful ending and be at His side and have her in my arms once more!

I started the Kindness Revolution to honor my daughter Mandy who was killed in a car accident in November of 2008.
Amanda (Mandy) was an amazing young woman that could light up a room with her smile, had a very kind heart. She always went out of her way to include others and make people feel welcome.
I wanted to continue what she was doing. Now that she is gone I am trying to do it on a larger scale to honor her memory and keep myself feeling close to her.
I focus on being thankful for the GIFT God gave me of allowing me to have Mandy in my life for the 17 years, instead of the fact that she is no longer here - by keeping her spirit and dreams alive and using her story and dreams to inspire others to become the best people they can. (I also am so Thankful for my Wonderful Daughter Amber who was a great big sister and for Parrish my husband for being the rock I have leaned on through-out this time)
In addition to spreading kindness here - We are raising funds to bring a student from Africa to Maine for a 4-year college education so they can go back and teach in Mandy's name. She said lift someone you don't know - I think an African student fits that well. Volunteering in Africa was another of her biggest dreams she knew about the shortage of teachers and wanted to help.
I am very lucky that Mandy knew her destination was heaven, she had an amazing faith. It was a comfort to know she had no doubts about that. Just three weeks before her accident she (at 17) had a discussion with me about exactly what she wanted for a service when her time finally came (of course at the time I thought we were talking at least 50 years in the future)- it was a blessing to know I was giving her what she wanted and it is heartwarming to know I am continuing to do what she wanted me to.
Have a wonderful day! So glad you have stopped by to see our website. Please know you are important in God's plan and you are making a difference!
Who do you help when you do something good?
Something happens when you help someone with no motive other than to lend a hand. You know it, You've almost certainly done it before. If you take a moment to think about it, you will remember the deep sense of..... something.... you felt when you did it.
That "something" is hard to describe, yet it is universal. When you feel like that, you know you have done something right. Something in alignment with that better part of yourself.
Doing Good Works! re-awakens the awareness of the good in doing good.
It re-energizes the enthusiasm for the idea of paying it forward.
And inspires us to re-experience the sheer joy of performing random acts of kindness.
Reading it will do your heart good. Putting it into action will be really good- for you, for others, for the world - beyond anything you might even imagine.
Go out and do some good. Then you decide who it helped.
This is from the website doing good works
Today I am blessed - I am Rich beyond measure with the things that count! I praise and thank God for the gifts He gives. I thank all my friends and family for their wonderful support!
