Focusing on being Thankful to God for the Gift of Mandy for the 17 years we had her!

I have no doubt that it was Mandy that Sent me such Clear Instructions at 4:30 the morning of her service... she send the words to me in a dream along with an undeniable urge to rise and write them down... they are:
My Final ONGOING Wish
Celebrate MY life,
(it’s okay to mourn the loss)
And remember the good times
Celebrate YOUR life (include me)
And make MORE good times
Remember what I wanted, and
Please do for me now, what I cannot
Hold each other up and
Lift someone you don’t even know
Aspire to greatness, dream BIG, and
Achieve many goals
Teach many, and
Smile HUGE in my honor.
Amanda (Mandy) Edwards
I think it is amazing that she was so clear about her life being celebrated - she wants us to laugh and not cry!

And I am working hard to make both of her Life's BIGGEST Goals come true - (Thank you to all of you helping me with these projects!)
1. I am spreading kindness, understanding and happiness as much as I can and I am hoping that the Kindness is
infectious and we start an epidemic!
2. I am working to raise money to continue to help the Teach with Africa Project. So we can look forward to many years of sending teachers to Africa in her Name!
I am very lucky that Mandy knew her destination was heaven, she had an amazing faith. It was a comfort to know she had no doubts about that. Just three weeks before her accident she (at 17) had a discussion with me about exactly what she wanted for a service when her time finally came (of course at the time I thought we were talking at least 50 years in the future)- it was a blessing to know I was giving her what she wanted and it is heartwarming to know I am continuing to do what she wanted me to.
Who do you help when you do something good?
Something happens when you help someone with no motive other than to lend a hand. You know it, You've almost certainly done it before. If you take a moment to think about it, you will remember the deep sense of..... something.... you felt when you did it.
That "something" is hard to describe, yet it is universal. When you feel like that, you know you have done something right. Something in alignment with that better part of yourself.
Doing Good Works! re-awakens the awareness of the good in doing good.
It re-energizes the enthusiasm for the idea of paying it forward.
And inspires us to re-experience the sheer joy of performing random acts of kindness.
Reading it will do your heart good. Putting it into action will be really good- for you, for others, for the world - beyond anything you might even imagine.
Go out and do some good. Then you decide who it helped.
